LST awarded the FAA’s Systems Engineering and Technical Innovative Solutions (SETIS) contract

LST was recently awarded the FAA’s Systems Engineering and Technical Innovative Solutions (SETIS) contract. SETIS is an IDIQ shared ceiling contract valued at approximately $2.3B and is a follow-on to our current SE2025 contract, under which we had previously won over 50 task orders, and is a 10-year contract supporting the FAA. LST received one of the three Full and Open awards as a large business, making this our second Full and Open contract, following last year’s Program Support Services (PSS) win. We are very excited about this win and the many opportunities it will provide to our employees as we expand our support to FAA customers over the next ten years!

The SETIS contract provides a broad range of research, service analysis, strategic planning, systems engineering, technical, financial, and programmatic support services, and other aviation-related support services that will enable the FAA to accomplish its National Airspace System (NAS), Mission Support, and other aviation related mission objectives. The SETIS contract supports 37 different tasking requirements, ranging from systems engineering support to future NAS R&D portfolio optimization, including the following core capabilities:

    1. Avionics Systems,
    2. Commercial Space,
    3. Cybersecurity,
    4. Enterprise Architecture Products and Enterprise Services,
    5. Integrated Laboratories and Operations,
    6. Trajectory-Based Operations (TBO),
    7. Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS),
    8. Air Traffic Management (ATM) Automation, and
    9. Communications, Navigation, and Surveillance (CNS).

This was a considerable proposal effort that spanned several years – we started our initial work on the opportunity in 2018 – and we had many contributors, both internally and from our external teammates. In addition to Steve Dash, Jim Hitt, and Mike Littier from our Strategy, BD, and Proposal staff, we want to recognize and thank key contributors Laura Adams, Jim Little, Allison Poltorak, Mary Kay Snyder, Teresa Anderson, Rich Jehlen, Kristen Beverly, Katie Quesenbery, Ben Tsai, Sasha Tabib, Sue Handy, Steve Reynolds, and Sergio Fernandes. Many others contributed to this success. Thanks to all of you who helped win this important contract!
