LST was founded in October 2000 by Tom Loftus, a former FAA employee, to provide the government a trusted partner for affordable and reliable telecom services. We are now a trusted contractor successfully supporting our clients on mission-critical, high visibility programs and initiatives.
Since our inception, we have partnered with the government to deliver services aligned with our customers’ plans, missions, and project goals. Through our personnel, we have developed strong working relationships over decades with our government clients.
Our ability to listen and interpret our clients’ needs ensures alignment through a deep understanding of the political, operational, and technical environments.
In 2003, LST received its 8(a) certification from the SBA and won its first Prime 8(a) contract shortly after that. In the mid-2000s, we saw significant growth in personnel and capabilities with significant awards for the FAA’s Command and Control Communications (C3) program. We made critical investments to bolster our infrastructure, processes, and capabilities, earning an ISO Quality Management certification and becoming part of the winning Enterprise Communications Support Services (ECSS) contract to support the FAA’s communications programs. Since that time, we have had many other wins, including but not limited to the FAA Systems Engineering 2025 (SE2025) contract and the FAA Enterprise Programs, Infrastructure, and Communications Services (EPICS) contract.
LST successfully graduated from both the 8(a) program and the small business size threshold and now employs over 400 people across the United States.
