Joan Somogy joins our team as the Strategic Advisor to the Air Traffic Systems Business Unit. She will support planning future activities and optimizing new opportunities in this role.
Before joining LST, Joan spent 30 years serving in leadership roles in the FAA. As a senior leader in Second Level Engineering, Joan was responsible for resolving operational issues affecting system performance and critical services in the NAS. Joan also served as a Deputy Director in the Program Management Organization, providing oversight and direction to several large-scale programs. Joan also has experience working as the Deputy Director of Technical Operations.
Joan holds a BS in Economics, a BA and MA in Mathematics, and an MBA. She also has her PMI PMP certification.
