30 Days of Service Challenge

At LST, community service is at the heart of our organization’s values. Last year, 43 of our employees dedicated their volunteer time off hours to serve their communities, leaving an impact nationwide. As we approach Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 15, a nationwide federal holiday commemorating Dr. King’s contribution to humanity, we invite you to kick-start the year with our 30 Days of Service Challenge, beginning the day after MLK Day.

During this challenge, our goal is to raise awareness about our Volunteer Time Off (VTO) benefit and collectively contribute to improving our communities, not only through our time but also through financial support, and/or small acts of kindness. We understand that life can be busy, so don’t worry if you miss a day; your support at any point is all that matters.

Here’s how you can get involved starting January 16th:

  • JOIN-Join the conversation in our LST Community Teams Channel, stay connected, and share encouraging messages, suggestions on activities, and/or shared experiences.
  • INSPIRE-Check out our downloadable resource for suggested activities throughout the month, and visit gov or volunteermatch.org if you need some more ideas.
  • DEDICATE-Dedicate at least 1 hour of VTO time to a service activity.
  • SHARE-Share your experience by submitting your story and/or a photo to us, sharing the organizations you supported with your VTO time or how you made an impact in your community.

Financial Impact Reminder: Remember that service isn’t limited to time; sometimes, financial support can make a significant difference. LS Technologies is here to support you when you make a financial impact. We can match donations to the 501c3 organization that you support. To request a matching donation and learn more about the process,  please use the donation request form.

Volunteer Time Off (VTO) Policy: Don’t forget that your dedication doesn’t just change lives; it inspires others. We encourage all full-time employees to utilize their four (4) hours of Volunteer Time Off Leave to support causes close to their hearts.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “If I cannot do great things, I can do small things in a great way.”

Together, with your engagement and support we can all make a difference by doing small things in a great way.

I look forward to serving with you!
