Larry Nace Vice President Engineering Services

Larry Nace is the Vice President of Engineering Services. Larry has over 34 years of progressive engineering leadership experience in both the government and private sectors. He joined LS Technologies in 2021 and has been instrumental in the success of our Cyber Solutions programs.

Larry started his career as an officer in the U.S. Navy, serving on active and reserve duty until he retired with 22 years of service. In the private sector after leaving active duty, Larry worked as an electrical power engineer in the oil & gas industry on projects in Texas, eastern Canada, and Alaska. Following this work, Larry moved into performing site engineering projects throughout Alaska and the U.S. Southeast under contract to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), ultimately serving as Regional Engineering Manager for the FAA’s Southern Region, supporting the Technical Support Services Contract (TSSC-I and II). Following a one-year recall to active duty supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in 2003, serving in the Middle East, Larry joined the FAA Telecommunications Infrastructure (FTI) program that he supported for nearly 17 years as National Operations Service Manager and Program Security Manager leading engineering projects to build and transition the FTI network infrastructure, leading operations and contingency teams, commissioned the FTI Backup Network Operations Control Center (BNOCC) and implemented a portfolio of capacity and major tech refresh projects for the FTI NAS Enterprise Security Gateway (NESG). Since joining LS Technologies, Larry has served as Director of the Cyber Solutions Business Area, where he has been leading the execution of cybersecurity programs supporting the FAA’s Technical Operations (ATO) Cybersecurity Group (ACG) since June 2022.

Larry has a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Michigan and a Master’s in Business Administration from Chapman University. Larry is also certified as a Program Management Professional (PMP), a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
