We have all seen the images of wildfires that have caused devastation and a massive loss of life in Maui, especially in Lahaina. From what I have learned about Lahaina, it has a warm Aloha spirit and hospitable culture reflecting Hawai’i’s beauty and energy.
Many of us have wondered what we can do to support those most deeply affected. There are ways that we can help the residents there to recover and rebuild. LST will donate $5,000 to the Maui United Way Fire and Disaster Relief Fund. And for those who want to join us in offering financial support, we are pledging to match your contributions to this charity up to an additional $5,000.

There is another way to help. LST employee Rafael Rodriguez, based in Hawai’i, has informed us of a reputable charitable organization doing impactful work to help those in need. The Kamehameha Schools and Pauahi Foundation collects goods for distribution to affected residents. We have spoken directly with the Foundation’s coordinator, and they would gladly accept donations of the following items:
